Well, it’s official! A couple weeks ago, I did my very first photo session in Port Huron, Michigan! My family moved back in April and I wanted to wait until the beautiful warmer weather started, and I am so glad that I was able to traipse through the Fort Gratiot woods and beach for some beautiful family photos for a dear friend, and her family.
Jenny’s family had never (ever!) had family photos taken! Can you believe that? It seriously hurts my heart. Family photos shouldn’t be dreaded. They shouldn’t be something that you despise doing yearly. They should be fun! We met at the beautiful Fort Gratiot Park, which ended up being a great spot for family photos in St. Clair County because it had multiple “looks”, from the deep wooded areas (Which was my personal favorite, especially coming from the plains of Colorado) to the beach with a pretty pavilion area. It literally had it all.
Harrison was turning two years old, and desperately needed some photos done. I mean seriously, how cute? He loves all things music, from his small guitar (that absolutely must be played with a pick) to his full sized drum set at home. The kid is in rockstar heaven, with his cool parents! It was so much fun to watch him let loose. Seriously this kid loves the camera, and I LOVE him! He made it so easy, and Jenny and Jason ended up not hating their family photos session, in return (yay!)
Are you in the St. Clair or Macomb County area in Michigan and looking to have some updated family photos done? Send me an email- I’d love to discuss some options with you!
