Always learning and always growing is key to any successful career in a creative field. I have also found it to be one of my personal secrets to happiness, because not only do I grow creatively, I also leave workshops feeling inspired and motivated. Once the busy fall passes, I often feel like my creativity takes a backseat, and I simply struggle to stay afloat, let alone be reminded of what was started as a passion, and personal yearn to capture beautiful things.
That’s why when the Decor + Details Workshop hosted by Ashley Kidder Photography and sponsored by Rocky Mountain Bride came to fruition, I quickly signed up and couldn’t wait to dive back into a personal project, and learn new things. Not only did I get to meet some other rad photographers in Denver, I got to challenge myself; I stepped out of my “family portrait” security bubble and embraced the wedding world, for just one day. The results? Simply magical.
