Sure, you may be wonderful at getting family portraits taken every year, but many times, people forget about extended family photos. Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles, all those people are important in your life, and (most importantly!) your child’s.
It’s been said, “It takes a village to raise a child,” and they are your village!
My family doesn’t live in Colorado, so I adore getting calls for extended family photo sessions, that incorporate Grandparents. I love watching the dynamic of the family, and their relationship, whether it’s a visiting Grammie or both sets live in the same city.
This past weekend, I had the privilege of meeting Natasha, and her family at a gorgeous (and new to me!) location in Brighton, Colorado. The cloudy weather was stunning, and the sunset over the lake was to die for! In a family portrait session, we were able to take many combinations of photos, and even some fun ones she plans to use for Christmas cards. Next time your family is together, pack everyone up and schedule a photo session. You’ll love remembering those memories for years to come.
Merry (Early!) Christmas!
